Yamaha has made a name for itself by embracing the trends of the retro scene, so it’s no surprise that the Japanese brand’s new XSR900 Abarth is impressing all who see it.

Car brand Abarth teamed up with Yamaha in order to create the XSR900 Abarth thanks to the Italian automaker’s existing partnership with Yamaha’s MotoGP team.

The bike is a tuned up version of the Japanese company’s XSR900, but thanks to the unique modifications, the ride and performance are entirely new.

The café-racer style XSR900 Abarth boasts an 847cc inline-triple engine that makes 113 horsepower. Other features include an Akrapovic titanium exhaust, a carbon fiber nose cowl, and a carbon seat unit with a suede seat.

Yamaha will release 695 of the XSR900 Abarth, with the first 95 customers able to register their order and sign up for an exclusive VIP Abarth Experience. After the first 95 units sell in this fashion, the remaining 600 will be available in Yamaha dealerships starting this April.
