PerezOchando Looks to Africa for Inspiration on Latest Missana Design, the Okapi Armchair

The new African forest-inspired Okapi armchair designed by PerezOchando for Missana Design is the most recent addition to Missana’s “The Novelties” lineup.

The Okapi chair is named after the endangered half-zebra/half-giraffe animal with the same name. Boasting rounded beech wood legs on the front and metal legs in the back, the chair mimics the front-back dichotomy in the actual Okapi’s looks.

Missana has swathed the chair with upholstery options that also draw on the vibe of an Okapi, versatile and rugged. Covering the design are Razzle-Dazzle-Ranger and Twill-Rouge fabrics that have been sourced from Febrik.

The beautiful armchair is perfect as a standalone piece or as part of a lobby or other meeting space.
