Superstar couple Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood sold their Los Angeles-area home for $7 million in an off-market deal. The 1958-built ranch-style home includes private beach access on Paradise Cove and was first purchased by the duo in 2008 for $4.95 million.

With amenities like an outdoor half-basketball court, a fireplace-equipped outdoor seating area, white plank ceilings, exposed brick and mint-and-taupe finishes, it’s an airy, immensely livable home with a tinge of rural charm—about what you’d expect from a couple of country music stars in Malibu.

Skylit vaulted ceilings, walls of windows and strategically placed clerestories let plenty of light in and offer views of the half-acre grounds. Living spaces in the 4,200-square-foot house include three-and-a-half bathrooms, four bedrooms, a pair of formal living areas with fireplaces, a large breakfast nook and an open chef’s kitchen with a center island, stainless steel appliances and European-style cabinets.

Another fireplace can be found in the master suite, while French doors offer access to the grounds with its lush lawn and native trees.

Two-time Grammy-winner Brooks is known for being a pioneer of country music that infused pop and rock and roll aspects—a development that has dominated the country landscape ever since Brooks’ breakthrough self-titled album in 1989.

Yearwood has won three Grammys in all, as well as a Daytime Emmy for her Food Network cooking show, Trisha’s Southern Kitchen.
