Louis Moinet’s new Sideralis Inverted Double Tourbillon isn’t just a beautiful timepiece, it is also a trendsetting watch as it marks the first time a double tourbillon has been used to power a complication.

The Sideralis complication featured in the new LM is just one of the stars of the watch. Another is the Swiss manual-wind, in-house caliber LM46 that boasts a three-day power reserve.

Holding the tourbillons, complication, and caliber is a 47.4 mm, 18kt gray gold case. Double sapphire crystals offer a look at the dial that forms two discs, in addition to the internal movements of the rare watch. There is also an 18kt gray gold clasp on the black alligator strap that the Louis Moinet timepiece is attached to.

The Sideralis Inverted Double Tourbillon features a water resistance of nearly 100 feet. Louis Moinet is set to offer a super scarce production run of just 28 examples of the watch.
