Jaeger-LeCoultre has introduced three rare models that exemplify the precision, talents, and hard work the Grande Maison has become known for, with the timepieces coming out of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Rare Crafts Atelier.

The first timepiece is the Master Grande Tradition à Répétition Minutes, which is both a visual and technical masterpiece, with the brand’s Calibre 942 automatic movement equipped with a namesake minute repeater.

The miniature painting that makes up the dial pays homage to Vincent Van Gogh’s Starry Night over the Rhône. This custom painting is locked in and preserved by Grand Feu enamel. The Master Grande Tradition Minute Repeater comes with a pink gold case and will be limited to only 18 editions.

The second piece, dubbed the Master Grand Tourbillon Enamel, features a dark blue paillonné enamel dial with golden dust.

The process of creating the paillonné enamel consists of a master craftsman cutting out minute sparkles of silver and yellow gold leaf foil and spreading them about the enamel in an eye-catching manner. After being fired in the kiln and polished away the result is a one-of-a-kind dial.

This special edition watch earns Jaeger-LeCoutre’s Calibre 978 automatic movement with a titanium tourbillon. The dial includes a peek into the mechanics of the timepiece through the sapphire crystal attached to a white gold case.

The final addition boasts techniques like engraving, skeleton-working, and enameling to create the Master Grande Tradition à Quantième Perpétuel 8 Jours SQ (SQ stands for squelette). The watch face offers its wearer not only the time, but the day of the week, the day of the month, and the month of the year. There is even a power-reserve display and a day/night indicator located at the 12 o’clock of the dial.

Last but not least, the Master Grande Tradition à Quantième Perpétuel 8 Jours SQ boasts a hand-wound Calibre 876SQ that features an 8-hour power reserve. This model will be limited to 200 units.
