Airbus recently launched a new concept for its cabins dubbed “Airspace by Airbus” with the purpose of making air travel a more pleasant experience for passengers with four main themes in mind: comfort, ambiance, service, and design.

The new cabin concept was shown off in Airbus’ widebody A330neo (new engine option), and also introduced to the A350 XWB. It offers a more relaxing and attractive space with a better functional ability for both travelers and crew.

Some of the features of the new Airspace cabins include wider seats, larger overhead storage space, roomy and freshly designed lavatories with antibacterial surfaces, and the best in LED lighting to create a soothing ambient lighting experience throughout the cabin.

Airlines can choose from a plethora of options for the galley/lavatory area so each company can cater to their individual airline’s requirements.
