A set of vintage Louis Vuitton suitcases have come up for sale and its not just the fine French baggage that’s being offered, but also a very special carrier for it: A 1931 Bentley 8 Litre.

The rare Bentley is just one of 100 built and is being offered by the UK-based William Medcalf Vintage Bentley. The 8 Litre is done up in British Racing Green, perfect for the two-seat sports body and matching green-leather interior. A custom removable metal frame secures the LV cases, which have leather handles, spring buckles, and the company’s famous “unpickable” lock.

The 8 Litre was the last car designed by founder Walter Owen Bentley before the corporate takeover by Rolls-Royce in 1931. W.O. Bentley even took the second production model for himself, after the first went to Scottish music-hall singer “Gentleman” Jack Buchanan.

The 8 Litre featured a 7983cc in-line six-cylinder engine that created between 200 and 230 horsepower, an impressive feat at the time. It also came with the option of being a two or four-seat vehicle with open or closed bodywork.

The price for the ultra-rare Bentley and Louis Vuitton luggage cases is around $1,150,000 (£800,000), according to the seller.
