Australian artist Duncan Meerding is making nature chic. His award-winning lighting collection The Cracked Log Lamps are made from cracked, salvaged logs. Meerding installs a warm yellow LED light system inside which gives the log a glowing effect. Each one is unique since light flows directly from the cracks in the wood.
