In response to the all-new Audi A8 and Mercedes S-Class, BMW has released the details for their 2016 7 Series full-size sedan. As expected, it’s spectacular, loaded with all-new features, and features a sleek design.

The 7 Series is stacked with amenities including gesture control, remote control parking, full LED headlamps, and automatic self-leveling suspension. In case you didn’t catch that—this vehicle can be parked without a driver inside. Using the display key, drivers can move the car up to 1.5 times its length for an optimized parking experience. Another futuristic feature is the gesture control system that allows the driver to control the infotainment system with literally a flick of the wrist. Gesture control can be used to accept or reject incoming calls, provide navigation commands, control the volume, and many other functions without taking a hand off the wheel.

Aside from the futuristic amenities, the 4-door sedan is stunning with a pure-white interior option and a multitude of new upgrades. The Executive Lounge option allows passengers to enjoy adjustable seats with a massage function, 4-zone climate control, foot rests, active seat ventilation, and a rear console complete with a detachable tablet.

The vehicle itself is a powerhouse crafted from carbon-reinforced plastic, aluminum, and steel. With four powerplant options, including the hybrid, drivers are able to customize their driving experience, and all options include the steptronic 8-speed automatic transmission for a fluid driving experience.

The 7 Series isn’t available for purchase yet, but drivers will be able to test out the new edition in September.
