It took about one month for actor Joe Mantegna to sell his Los Angeles-area Tudor-style home. The ‘Criminal Minds’ star listed the property in late January of this year; he was asking $4.2 million, and accepted an offer that was, presumably, right in line with expectations: $4 million.

On the outside, the 1989-built house features brick, mullion windows, and half timbers; the suburban Tudor style in spades. Inside, though, it’s a mishmash of styles, with herringbone hardwood floors, a French fireplace, and a bright, somewhat modern feel that modifies the period-style detailing with a more down-to-earth sensibility. The details still shine through, though, and the Dutch door in the kitchen is a welcome surprise.

The standout spaces are the entertainment room, which features a wet bar and abundant space for gatherings, and the master suite, which boasts a fireplace, French doors, and a balcony.
