After flying from the Baltimore Ravens to saddle up with the Denver Broncos, NFL star Joe Flacco listed his Maryland mansion. It didn’t take him long to part with it. The quarterback found an interested buyer within days of putting it up for sale with a $1.59 million price tag.

Located in the Medford community of Reisterstown, the 2008-built residence spans 7,300 square feet with six bedrooms, five full bathrooms, and two half-baths. The traditional all-brick Colonial was built in 2008, and is set on more than an acre of lush green land dotted with mature trees.

The house begins with a striking dual-staircase entry rising to a second-floor gallery; cherry-finished floors contribute to an intense first impression. Further inside, there’s plenty of room to entertain with formal living and dining rooms, a two-story family room, and a beautiful gourmet kitchen. The kitchen stands out with white cabinetry, a large center island, and stainless steel appliances.

The home’s visuals are traditional and nicely balanced. Cool and warm tones alternate, creating a living style that is urbane, casual, and decidedly Eastern-U.S. The sense of space is nicely sustained, and the home’s recreational potential can be fully explored in the expansive semi-basement family room.

Flacco was with the Ravens for a decade. His contribution to the team’s Superbowl win in 2012 won him the Superbowl MVP in that year.
