Michael Jackson’s Last Vegas Home Back on the Market for Reduced $9M

The cavernous onetime Las Vegas retreat of seminal late 20th-century pop megastar Michael Jackson made a return to the open market recently. The property’s price tag reflects a snip from $9.5 million to a trifle under $9 million.

The estate is, like its famous former owner, an anomaly. The interior living areas measure over 17,000 sq. ft., so the scale of some rooms is astonishing. The whole thing peaks in the great room, where a fountain centerpiece, a soaring ceiling, a wet bar, and an upper balcony where guest rooms may be accessed.

The master suite is another spatial knockout. The interlocked series of rooms measures in at 2,500 sq. ft. It features arcade hallways in the bedroom, which add a touch of the classically palatial to the mix, and a boutique-like closet and dressing room. A fireplace and a dramatic backlit tray ceiling are additional elements at work here. There are eight bedrooms and at least eight baths in all.

The list of indoor amenities continues with the estate’s guest apartment, screening room, office slash library with rail ladder-accessible built-in bookshelves, and sauna. Outside, a pool house and large swimming pool, a wet bar, a summer kitchen and a tennis court are the highlights.
