Marriage-minded actors Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin may be trading their nest for a larger one. They’ve listed their house in Studio City with a $3.249 million price tag.

According to Dirt, the appearance of the 3,711 sq. ft. home on the open market coincides with the couple’s recent purchase of a larger Los Angeles-area home: the now-former haunt of Hollywood legacy Keifer Sutherland, a 4,879 sq. ft. 1935-vintage property in Toluca Lake which the pair paid $8 million to acquire.

The house Culkin and Song are selling is a modern-inflected single-level with five bedrooms and five baths that went up in 2019. The home’s common area has a loft-like feel with Scandinavian minimalist overtones; midcentury elements include an attached accent wall with a peninsula fireplace installed, while more invitational touches include the built-in bench seat perpendicular to the dayroom.

The kitchen is pared down to hardwood—including floor-to-ceiling cabinetry—stainless, and a pair of pendants over an island equipped with a prep sink. Beneath it all is a foundation of wide-plank white oak in a natural finish, although some reclaimed timber gets worked into the design style for a bit of flavor and contemporary hat-tipping.

The primary bedroom is quite large; like at least one of the secondary bedrooms, it opens to the patio, where a BBQ island surveys a geometric section of lawn and a saltwater swimming pool. Remote electric shades and a water softener are recent additions to this house’s living style.
