Singer and dancer Normani listed her Los Angeles property for sale recently. The Fifth Harmony member and integral interval is asking $3.995 million for the six-bed, seven-bath modern, according to Dirt. The 2020 build sits on a .16-acre lot in Sherman Oaks.
There’s a little playful Googie inspiration subtly at work in the home’s façade; a planar masonry accent rises from terra firma to the roofline and defines the recessed entry as it appears to cleave the structure into distinct sections. Inside the house, an open-concept living, dining and family area gets most of the space on the first level, while the appealing kitchen is sequestered in a corner; a masonry accent wall containing a linear fireplace anchors the room.
A single-stringer staircase with a glass-pane balustrade and wood treads and handrail services the floors; floors, by the way, are also hardwood, and exclusively but for the home’s bathrooms. The architecture also works in a corner of retractable glass, which accesses a covered outdoor patio and the pool area beyond it from the family room.
Overall it’s a familiar look, warm and inviting, and the bedrooms have enough glass to make the most of sunny mornings. Amenities are, of course, heavy, with the standards of the repertoire present and accounted for: theater and office, while a spa and rooftop BBQ deck present some less-usual creature comforts for consideration.
Normani’s solo debut album is in the works.
