Paparazzi-hounded Amber Heard has sold her California desert retreat. The deal for the Yucca Valley property was conducted quietly off-market. Public records indicate the closing registering at $1.1 million last month—nearly double what Heard paid for the property three years ago.

The house appeared in real estate news last June, mainly as a curiosity for those during the months when the couple’s litigation took precedence over, it seemed, all genuinely newsworthy matters. Heard purchased the home in 2019, a few months before Depp filed a defamation suit against her.

The 2015-built house sits on a 5.96-acre lot. It’s a three-bedroom with three baths in suite layout; amenities in the 2,457 sq. ft. pueblo-inspired contemporary include a wet bar. Polished concrete floors with an aged finish, an open feel, pine cabinetry and reclaimed timber accents contribute heavily to the home’s living style.

Details of the property’s outdoor living spaces essentially begin and end with the 100-foot rope bridge and its raison d’être: the cabana perched on a hillside across the dry wash.

Heard’s upcoming films include Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, with Jason Momoa, Willem Dafoe, Dolph Lundgren, and Nicole Kidman.
