In October of 2021, NBA bad boy Ben Simmons—formerly of the Philadelphia 76ers, currently with the New Jersey Nets—listed a pair of properties on the open market. One of them, a six-bedroom, seven-bath house in Moorestown, New Jersey, listed at $5 million and went to a new owner this month for $4.55 million.

The second property, a residence located on a middle floor of the Philadelphia Ritz-Carlton, appeared with an asking price of $3.1 million. That dwelling remains for sale on the open market, although it’s seen a price clip that leaves it asking $2,999,999. Its interiors are designed in a spirit of refined warmth, with custom kitchen cabinetry, mid-tone hardwood and stone tile floors, and oversized windows offering arresting views of the City of Brotherly Love.

The unit contains three bedrooms and five baths across 3,079 sq. ft. of interior living area. The layout includes a separate wing for the master, including a large bedroom; the custom-made king-size ordered by Simmons is, according to the listing, part and parcel of the terms of sale, along with the rest of the unit’s furnishings.
