Six-Time NBA All-Star Jimmy Butler Scores Miami Spread for $7.5M

In the late summer of last year, Miami Heat team member Jimmy Butler sold a 7,630 sq. ft. home in Pinecrest for $7.1 million. The forward fared well on the transaction; he’d owned the home for about two years when it changed hands, and he paid $4.5 million for it.

It didn’t take Butler too long to find replacement digs. Last month, he settled on a 6,148 square-footer in Miami. The price was in line with the sale price of the Pinecrest property — Butler closed on the six-bedroom, seven-bath house for $7.45 million — and the place is right down the street from it, too.

The 2000-built house is located in a small gated community. It is surrounded by formal landscaping, with close-cropped hedgerows and lawns in front and a lanai, saltwater pool, BBQ and playhouse in back. Its interior living style is more or less traditional, with cozily familiar design elements the rule of thumb. Specialty rooms include a library, but the master takes the prize; the suite incorporates a family room and an office.
