Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel Realize Handsome Profit on $29M Sale of Manhattan Penthouse

The Los Angeles estate which Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake put up for sale last October has yet to find a new owner. On the other coast, however, the pair has successfully concluded the sale of their penthouse unit in one of the more fashionable buildings in New York. The residence closed before the end of last year.

Both properties are extraordinary. The L.A. home was once part and parcel of Errol Flynn’s sprawling residence. It features 13,530 sq. ft. of interiors and over ten acres of breathing room, and it appeared on the open market with a $35 million asking price. The Manhattan penthouse is located at 443 Greenwich, the ‘paparazzi-proof’ address that has also separated Jennifer Lawrence, Lewis Hamilton, Meg Ryan and Jake Gyllenhaal from considerable piles of cashola.

The duo purchased the property back in 2017, shelling out $20 million for the keys. They sold it quietly—for $29 million. That’s a fine return by any standard.

The unit contains four bedrooms and at least four bathrooms in its 5,375 sq. ft. of interior living space; its terrace space adds roughly 2,000 sq. ft. to the property’s total living area. Units in the building are designed with a green-tinged sensibility, and feature reclaimed materials, and a style that is meditative and echoes the history of the building.

Timberlake stars in upcoming crime thriller Reptile, with Benicio del Toro and Alicia Silverstone.
