David Beckham’s new role as the face of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar involves a hefty paycheck; the soccer star will reportedly earn $205 million over the next 10 years as the country’s cultural ambassador. To celebrate, he splurged on a new yacht made by the Ferretti Group and, according to The Daily Mail, took a cruise with family in the waters around Miami. No word on price, but a similar boat is currently on the market for $9 million, so it can’t be too far off.

The yacht has been named Seven—a reference to his iconic jersey number. Part of the Riva range, the Argo is a 94-foot craft boasting a flybridge design. The craft features a double-staircase transom and a swimming platform. It has the lines of a sport boat, and the appearance is born out in its power and performance numbers.

Seven is outfitted with twin MTU engines, each producing 2,400 horsepower, and can cruise at 20 knots. This example of the Riva Argo tops out at 30 knots. She contains five staterooms, and can sleep up to 10 guests. She has accommodations on board for four crew members. The custom-built craft features a great deal of glass, which lends a bright, airy living style to the salon and other shared spaces.

Beckham’s star power is very much in demand; he is also ambassador for Maserati. Late last year, the Miami United team owner took delivery of a special Fuoriserie MC20 supercar. On the real estate front, the former Team England hero purchased a penthouse in Miami’s One Thousand Museum in 2020 for a cool $24 million. And the kids are doing alright, too—thanks for asking. Last year, son Brooklyn made a substantial purchase in Beverly Hills to the tune of $10.5 million.
