Actor Danny Masterson, who starred in seminal turn-of-the-century sitcom That ‘70s Show, listed this 1923-built Spanish Eclectic late last summer. Masterson was hoping for a $6.995 million resolution of the listing, and managed to come pretty close: the Andalusian-inflected property closed at $6.2 million just before the year’s end.

In keeping with a period example of the style, the five-bedroom, four-bath property begins with a gated entry courtyard, an emphatic statement of privacy and romantic seclusion that is enhanced by flowering vines and ancient plantings.

As a preamble to the home, the courtyard represents the spirit of the style, and why it continues to be so appealing. As the property develops, the details rapidly accumulate, with the whole featuring a Moroccan-inspired theme, with carved wood, tile, and window shapes all contributing to the design sensibility.

The house sits on a .65-acre lot, enough space to comfortably fit a lavish pool area, a tennis court, lawns, walking paths and a lengthy loggia into the living style.
