The sally of Hyundai luxury division Genesis into territory traditionally dominated by upper-echelon companies continued this autumn when the Korean firm announced the 2023 G90. More recently, Genesis has revealed a series of interior shots that really sell the next-generation model.

As a fully dressed executive-level sedan, the 2023 G90 doesn’t miss much, and doesn’t have to apologize for anything. The 375-horsepower, V6-outfitted model’s cockpit experience is designed around a pair of 12.3-inch displays: an instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen. The dash is stylized and sculptural, lending a graceful, fluid feel to the interiors.

The car’s sense of equipoise between sustainability and luxury indulgence is an interesting matter; creature comforts include a fragrance system, and there’s a 23-speaker B&O sound system on board, but he trim is called ‘Newspaper Crown’ and ‘Newspaper Stripe’ which converts recycled material into a luxurious touch (and fourth-estaters may want to take note).

But this is a chauffeur-ready ride, and the backseat received a huge amount of attention from designers. The car has a built-in recliner with ventilation and heat for the big kahuna, as well as storage and another touchscreen. Air suspension and rear-wheel steering keep the ride smooth and the car nimble.

Pricing for the 2023 G90 has not yet been announced by Genesis. The 2022 iteration base stickered at just over $68K.
