The latest news from Ducati’s 2022 lineup involves the Multistrada, the combination touring and city bike that has become one of the venerable firm’s most popular since its introduction early in the century.

For the upcoming model year, however, Ducati has engineered a revision of the V-twin Multistrada 950 best-seller, and they call it the Multistrada V2. The bike’s updates and features make it worth a look.

The 2022 Multistrada V2 features a lower ride stance and a new ‘S’ trim level that adds Ducati’s ‘Skyhook’ semi-active suspension—it’s a dampening system that compensates continually—as well as quick-shift, a 5-inch screen, and LED headlamps.

The Multistrada V2 also features hill-start assist and traction control. And the same drive modes—Sport, Travel, Enduro and Urban—that helped make the outgoing Multistrada so popular.

Deliveries are scheduled for the holiday season. The 2022 Multistrada V2 starts at $15,295.

Ducati also introduced the Multistrada V4 late last year.
