A megayacht owned by Australian businessman James Packer appeared for sale recently. Motoryacht IJE measures in at 354.4 feet, and she sleeps 22 guests across eleven cabins. She is listed with Burgess at €175 million, about 205 million at current exchange rates.
IJE was completed in 2019 by Benetti Yachts. Her exterior was designed by Redman Whiteley Dixon. Interiors are the work of Benetti; the firm designed the living style as casual, and the shared spaces are bright and relaxed, with blue and white tones and a great deal of matte-finished hardwood expressing the lifestyle aboard ship. The main saloon is a wide-open space, with sliding glass on three sides for a breezy warm-weather feel.
The list of specialized amenities on board IJE is impressive; it includes zero-speed stabilizers, a salon, a cinema, an elevator, and a nightclub with a long, custom-built sofa with a wavelike design. The yacht’s decks include a lower gym with a terrace, a bridge deck with a firepit, and a main deck with a dining area that includes a lounge and wet bar. She is outfitted with two 40-foot tenders.
IJE has a range of 6,500 nautical miles. She cruises at 16 knots, and has a maximum speed of 20.
Packer’s net worth is around $3 billion.
