German automotive tuning specialist Manhart has turned in more than one dazzler over the past few years. The firm’s 801-horsepower Lamborghini Urus that appeared in 2019 is a good example of the company flexing its design muscle, and their collaborative effort with Poland-based tuning outfit Carlex resulted in a particularly fast and plush BMW X6 M in the spring of 2018.

To close out the summer of 2021, Manhart took the wraps off a new project: a Tesla Model 3 Performance. The company calls the modified EV the TM3 700. The dressed-up mid-size now boasts track-inspired exterior cosmetics, 21-inch wheels, tinted glass, and a beefed-up suspension with H&R springs.

Most interesting is the inclusion of Manhart’s proprietary MHTronik Powerbox. The module amps up the Model 3’s motors, resulting in a horsepower rating of 543, and a torque rating of 531 pound-feet. The development and production of the MHTronik Powerbox indicates that Manhart is wisely investing in tuning options for electric cars—they may be beating the competition to the punch in a niche that will likely become very lucrative in the next few years.

The TM3 700 is priced from €74.9K, about $90K at current rates.
