The ultimate gift for the young aficionado of automotive exotica may be this ¾-size Ferrari Testa Rossa. The small version of the classic racecar is powered by electricity, and its 12 kW battery can take it to 47 MPH. That’s pretty fast for the really young set, but for the right age this serious toy teaches much about the potential beauty and importance of the classics.

The little Testa Rossa is the work of The Little Car Company, a small—but not diminutive—firm based at Bicester Heritage, a WWII-era RAF base in Launton, England. The company’s other items include a car based on the Bugatti Type 35. There’s a Brit in the lineup too, a nifty kids’ Aston based on the DB5.

Like its brethren, the Little Car Company’s Testa Rossa is handmade, and components are sourced from the most credible of makers: Brembo is on the list, among others. The scale car operates via drive modes changeable by way of a Manettino.

Pricing starts around $110,000.
