Singer and songwriter Pink picked up a Malibu beach house this spring. The performer sank $13.7 million into the leisure lifestyle residence, which was a bit higher than the ask set when the home appeared on the open market in April of this year. The property had been priced at $13.5 million prior to the recent closing.
The property was built in 1976 for pop singer Barry Manilow, which makes Pink’s purchase of it a case of family transfer, figuratively speaking. Its promontory location gives it water and beach views from three sides, and it sports the requisite expanses of oversized glass panes, sliding glass doors, and clerestories to make the most of the location. The design style packs in some glitz, especially in the kitchen, which is outfitted with an angular block waterfall island and an icy pattern backsplash.
Outdoor living areas include a terrace over the beach, a private balcony off the master, and a courtyard on one side that features a spa, a tile floor, and enough space for both dining and lounging areas.
Pink has sold over 90 million records worldwide. Her last three studio albums all topped the Billboard 200 chart. She recently released a live album titled All I Know So Far: Setlist.
