NFL tackler Kenny Clark—who last year signed a four-year, $70 million contract with the Green Bay Packers—picked up this Los Angeles-area retreat toward the end of this past winter. The professional football player paid $2.9 million for the quiet slice of Woodland Hills.

The six-bedroom, six-bath house was completed in 1998, and measures in at 5,665 sq. ft. It sits on a lot of about half an acre, enough room for a large lawn, a detached two-level guest house, and a large motor court that can accommodate ten cars.

Inside the European-inflected stone-and-stucco traditional, renovations have amped up the material flash. The kitchen boasts Calacatta marble, dove-grey subway tile and granite, and the wide-plank floors have received a glossy finish that brings out their natural grain and contrast. The curving staircase in the home features hardwood treads; it ascends to a catwalk with steel balustrade-protected overlooks illuminated by second-story clerestories.

Amenities include a lounge with a wet bar, a media room, and a master suite with a huge bath finished with glossy tile and custom hardwood cabinetry. Outdoor amenities flourish in the backyard: a pool, a covered dining spot, a putting green and a basketball half-court.

Clark signed a four-year, $70 million contract with the Packers in 2020.
