Former Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward is new to the Charlotte Hornets, courtesy of a $120 million, four-year deal. As hearth and home, Hayward selected this French-style mansion in his team’s city; the 8,780 sq. ft. residence set him back $4.7 million.

The house is watched over by a classic duo: stone lions amid the shrubbery. The three-level home’s facade is expressed in brick and glass, with a soaring bank of glass panes on one side that illuminates the parlor and floating staircase, one of two in the home.

In back, a large second-floor terrace is the centerpiece of the architecture, and accessible via French doors from the various living spaces. Other amenities of the property’s interior and exterior living spaces include a large family room with a billiards table, guest quarters, and a massive pool and recreation area with a covered kitchen and living area and an attached pergola.
