Rock vocalist and front man David Coverdale accepted an offer on his Lake Tahoe-area estate this month. The property first hit the market in 2019, priced at a little less than $10 million. Prior to its recent transition into pending status, it had been asking $6.8 million.

The 9,035 sq. ft. house features modern architecture; the exterior is entirely clad in wood, and boasts a chalet-like decks off its second and third floors. The interiors are similarly expressed; the living and dining area is open concept, with exposed wood in its soaring ceiling, a grand stone fireplace in a hardwood accent wall, and hardwood floors. The kitchen features stone tile floors, a breakfast bar and an island.

The ‘rock star’ features include a soaking tub alcove in the master suite; it’s surrounded by glass and given a double-height ceiling. A library, an entertainment room with a wall of floor-to-ceiling built-in shelves for media, and a Roman bath-style indoor pool are also standouts. Outside, a spiral staircase descends from the second floor to ground level, where lawns, gardens, and a stone patio adjacent to a waterfall reflection pond emerge as exterior highlights.
