Six-time NBA All Star member Amar’e Stoudemire listed his mansion near Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for sale this winter. The Southwest Ranches home arrived on the open market with an asking price of $3.5 million and quickly found a fan; it is currently pending sale.

With a façade dominated by a soaring, two-level, cupola-capped porte-cochere, this 8,675 sq. ft. home makes a definite statement. The entry is double-door, with etched glass panels and flanking panes, and it opens to a glossy marble floor with a dome ceiling.

The single-level architecture allows for very high ceilings as well as a rambling layout, and within the four-bedroom main home’s footprint are a luxuriously spacious series of shared living spaces, including a living room with a hardwood wet bar—a kind of installation design that rises to the ceiling—as well as an ornate, carved stone fireplace and floor-to-ceiling glass that opens to the outdoor recreation area.

Which, of course, is fully developed. A pool, a large patio, a covered summer kitchen, and a guest house put its 2.33 acres of grounds to best use, Florida-style.
