The Washington, D.C., home of Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner is currently available as a rental at $18K per month. The property is located in the Kalorama neighborhood.

A Colonial dating to 1923, the 7,000 sq. ft. single-family residence known as Waddy Wood has been extensively renovated and expanded. The home’s symmetrical façade features sash windows, a cornice decorated with dentils, and a ram’s head pediment above the classic single-door entry. A double outside staircase finished in stone and inset with an arched basement door concludes a cursory look at the exterior.

Inside the home, the heavy renovations really shine through. The living style has been modernized, and rendered as unadorned, tasteful, and somewhat chilly. Crown moldings and wainscoting, and some bathroom fixtures appear to be original; a Scandinavian-inspired kitchen, new oak plank, and open stairwell with a glass balustrade bring the contemporary into the picture.

At its best, the house is bright and a little ethereal; the living area features French doors that open onto the slate patio, flooding one corner of the shared space with light. There are six bedrooms in all, including a large master with a private terrace.

Long-term lease possible.

The couple recently leased a condo in Miami Beach. They also completed the purchase of a premium lot in the Miami area for $31.8 million.
