Retired MLB player Aaron Rowand picked up this two-story in Orange County to round out the summer of 2020. The former centerfielder spent $4.8 million on the 1974-built home, which contains seven bedrooms and six baths in 6,650 sq. ft. of living area.

The home sits on a promontory, and is designed around a courtyard that contains a salt water pool; the rear of the property boasts lawns, a large patio, and a BBQ area. Balconies, terraces and a 2-bedroom guest apartment surround the residence. The home’s interior layout features a master suite wing with a spa bath.

Rowand appeared in the real estate news earlier this summer when he sold the house in Las Vegas he’d been trying to sell for about a year. That residence—and its glitzy interiors—sold for $5.5 million against a $6.5 million initial ask.
