Mansory’s latest build is something of a departure from the menacing luxury SUVs the tuning shop usually provides us with; it started with a Ford GT, and ended as Le Mansory.

The name is a playful riff on a famous auto race you may have heard about, if only as a Steve McQueen vehicle. The levity marks a pleasing change to tuner-shop gravity, but this Mansory offering is serious business, taking a GT and giving it a scowling front end, a stationary rear wing a 1980s stoner would probably describe as ‘radical’, and an aero system that’s so complex it has to be seen to be believed.

The Le Mansory also boasts a power boost above and beyond the stock GT. The tuning shop tweaked the engine to squeeze out an extra 50 horsepower and 70 pound-feet of torque. The interiors are sheathed in leather and Alcantara, with carbon fiber accents to echo the extensive use of the super-rigid, cool-looking stuff in the Le Mansory’s exterior.

Mansory is only planning to build three of these flashy ultra-GTs.
