Investment specialist Gabriel Hoffman listed his waterfront home in the Palm Beach this summer. The asking price is a stout eighty mil, but the estate is one of the largest in the area.
Which translates, in this case, to a mansion of over 15,500 square feet, and grounds that extend to well over seven acres. The house is a Mediterranean villa, and contains seven bedrooms and at least twelve baths. The exterior design includes a porte-cochere, and a rambling, two-story footprint that suggests substantial scale within.
The home’s interiors begin with a foyer that presents stone walls, inviting arches, and a curving staircase with a wrought-iron balustrade. As it progresses, the degree of detail involved in the home’s construction begins to emerge, with hand-painted tile, stenciled ceiling beams, carved fireplaces, and gilded flourishes.
Standout spaces include the salon, which features pine walls, plank hardwood floors, and a tiled fireplace surround, and the kitchen, which boasts a ceiling fresco and stenciled borders. The master has to be seen to be believed.
The outdoor living areas include a covered indoor/outdoor living and dining area with a fireplace, and a pool area serviced by a set of outdoor steps with tile risers. The grounds feature gardens, groomed hedges and shrubs, and palm-dotted lawns.
