The Weeknd Lists Elegant Hidden Hills Mansion for $25M

Last autumn, music star The Weeknd dropped $21 million to add a penthouse in the Beverly Hills West building. The full-floor unit made for quite an addition to the fellow’s real estate portfolio; its 8,000 square feet of interiors are slickly expressed in contemporary terms, with plentiful figured stone and hardwood, atmospherics galore, and, of course, knockout views of downtown.

Now comes the listing part: a Hidden Hills property that’s asking $25 million. The three-acre expanse is crowned with a mansion that boasts interior living space of nearly 14,000 square feet; there are nine bedrooms and eleven baths throughout the estate, including a two-bed guest house.

The main house was built in 2017, and looks it. Its exterior mixes architectural styles into a postmodern amalgam; the veneer includes elements of traditional, barn, and industrial represented in turn.

The interiors are ebullient, with liberation frequently evoked and just enough warmth to carry the day for optimism; Scandinavian-inspired, generally, with clean lines, an uncluttered style, and a whisper of traditionalism. Wide-plank, satin-finished oak floors and stone accents add texture and earth to the otherwise blazing living area, and the bedroom layout includes dual master suites.

The amenities on the property make for a long list. Aside from the dual master suites and the catering-ready kitchen, there’s an atmospherically lit gallery for a five-car collection, a fitness room, a home theater, and an office.

Three acres is a lot of land to play with, and the property packs in a full basketball court, a pool, equestrian facilities, and plentiful patio and terrace space without appearing cramped.
