Zlatan Ibrahimovic—Ibra to his fans, and followers of European football—seems very pleased with his springtime diversion: a beautiful Ferrari Monza SP2, which the professional athlete gifted himself to mark his 38th birthday back in October.

The Monza siblings—SP1 and SP2—for those who don’t follow the world of exotic cars quite so closely, are rather unique models, even for exotics. Ferrari revealed them under the umbrella of series name ‘Icona’, and plan additional models in the line.

Icona means, of course, icon, and as brand representatives the duo, and the models to follow, carry the history of the Prancing Horse, specifically racing Ferrari models. The SP1 and SP2 feature design language fluent in the competitive Ferraris of the 1950s, with a contemporary extravagance of line.

The SP2 is the two-seater in the pair. Like its sibling, it has a V12 for a heart, and is windshield-free. That makes it truly an open-air ride for spring, and we’re sure Ibra is enjoying his during this unusually fine May.

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay showed off his equally stunning example of the Monza SP2 a few months ago.
