Audi’s newest Q7 for the 2020 model year puts an upper-level SUV within reach of more buyers. The automaker is calling the variant the 2020 Q7 45 TFSI, and it is priced as an entry to the higher end lineup offered by the company.

The Q7 45 TFSI receives a 2L four-cylinder turbo, which delivers 248 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque; that’s not enough to make a 4,700-pound vehicle a thrill machine, but it’s adequate, and will get the 45 TFSI from 0-60 in a hair under seven seconds. An eight speed gearbox gets the power to the wheels, and the variant comes with Audi’s famed Quattro AWD system.

At $55K, the base sticker is 10%—nearly to the nose—under the next model up, the Q7 55 TFSI, which is equipped with a 335-horsepower, six-cylinder 3L engine.
