Last October, news came out about a portion of the car and ’cycle collection of late actor Paul Walker, which was headed to auction in Arizona at the beginning of the New Year. This month saw the auction come and go, with all items on the block selling and yielding a total of $2.3 million for Walker’s estate.
21 cars from Walker’s collection were offered for sale at Barrett-Jackson’s auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. Walker starred in the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise, and one of the cars that appeared in the film ‘Fast Five’—a Nissan 370Z—generated $106K in revenue. The five examples of the short-lived BMW E36 M3 collectively fetched over a mil.
The blue ribbon went to another BMW: Walker’s 1991 E30 M3 found a bidder willing to part with $220K to drive it home. The other cars in the sample of Walker’s collection included mundane entries—a ’95 Bronco—and a few cool oddballs, including a ’64 Chevelle wagon.
