Entrepreneur Nick Woodman listed a four-structure property in Woodside, California, this month with an $18.75 million asking price. Woodman—who founded tech company GoPro in 2002—has owned the custom-built compound for five and a half years, having purchased it in 2014 for $16 million.

Dating to 2001, the ivy-covered villa hides its recent vintage well. The exterior of the main residence is clad in green, and together with the Italian-style architecture helps contribute to a very convincing ‘displaced Tuscan country house’ conceit.

Which is, for the most part, supported by the interiors. The living spaces receive a warm treatment and a subtle rusticity that is balanced with contemporary overtones. Details include plank floors, limestone fireplaces, and exposed beams, and a spectacular double-height foyer and a Tuscan farmhouse-inspired kitchen number among the home’s standout spaces.

The property also includes a pair of detached guesthouses, however, and a pool house, so the story isn’t over yet. The guest cottages are cozy and inviting; one of them features a shared living area entirely clad in wood. The pool house is currently expressed as an entertainment space, with a pair of lounges flanking a center bathroom/changing room, and an exterior terrace.

The 3-acre lot is landscaped as a series of gardens and walking paths, giving it the park-like appeal desired by many homeowners in this climate.
