A few weeks after EV startup Bollinger Motors announced that their B1 and B2 trucks are nearing production stage, the company is in the news again. This time around, they’ve announced pricing for their distinctive, utilitarian-luxe beasts of burden.

It isn’t surprising that the company has priced the SUV and pickup at a flat $125K, excluding options. That kind of pragmatism is written all over the B1 and B2. From the simplicity and ruggedness of their incredibly boxy massing to their task-ready power, the duo recalls classic Land Rover designs by way of Detroit.

They’re not coming cheap, but the stated pricing is about where we expected it to be. Both trucks are medium weight class, with 614 horsepower and 668 lb-ft of torque available; their range is 200 miles, and their 120 kWh batteries can be fully charged in as little as 75 minutes.

Add 10 AC outlets and 15 inches of clearance to the B1 and B2 usage profile, and you have an estate or company workhorse that can make hard jobs in unfriendly terrain much, much easier.
