The market for personalized luxury cars shows no signs of slowing down. In response to the increasing buyer desire to turn that exclusive ride into a personal statement, Ferrari’s Tailor Made Center opened this month, expanding the company’s Manhattan showroom to 6,600 square feet.

The Tailor Made Center allows Ferrari clients to customize their cars in person. Until this fall, such a pleasure had been reserved for customers at the Ferrari headquarters in Maranello, Italy. Although the Maranello location had been open to customization-minded clients since the 1950s, it was formally christened the Tailor Made Center in 2011. In 2014, a second location opened in Shanghai.

The Manhattan location— which is located at 410 Park Avenue— is the only one of its kind in the Americas. Customers may select from an extensive series of options, from colors and finishes to woods, leathers, and fabrics. There are two themed collections available, and one which is wide open for interpretation. The Scuderia Collection is inspired by professional driving, the Classica Collection highlights Ferrari history, and the Inedita Collection allows a customer’s vision full expression.

A special lounge space for owners was added to the Ferrari showroom as well, providing a social venue and relaxation space for Ferrari’s faithful.
