Hockey Hall of Fame inductee Brett Hull is hoping to score with the listing of his Missouri mansion for $2.795 million.

This listing marks a significant price reduction for the former St. Louis Blues player; he first hefted the property onto the open market in 2016, with an asking price of $3.775 million. Hulls invested a staggering $2 million into an intensive renovation of the grand, historic Brentwood Park abode, but it’s unclear if he’ll break even with the sale.

The luxurious residence was originally constructed in 1912, and many of the original details remain; crown moldings, leaded and stained glass windows, and hardwood top the list. Tulls’ renovation expresses the home as both an idealized version of its original self, and an updated, contemporary residence.

The four-bedroom, seven-bath home is ideal for entertaining; it spans 10,472 square feet, with a great deal of its available footprint occupied by shared living areas. The formal living room features a classic fireplace flanked by lantern sconces, and three sets of French doors; an all-white kitchen comes complete with a large eat-in center island and marble countertops.

The 1.7-acre property itself also lends to outdoor entertaining; several terraces and patios make the most of the warmer months, and the grounds are accented with mature trees and detailed landscaping for a lush look in-season.
