Sony recently introduced its new WF-1000XM3 wireless earphones. Never a brand to rest on its laurels, the company has been revising its noise-canceling tech, and the new ‘phones boast an improved listener experience.

The Japanese tech experts call the new feature Dual Noise Sensor technology. And it will help music-lovers to completely tune out ambient noise, and enjoy their favorite songs without interruption or noise-pollution static.

Sony’s QN1e HD Noise Canceling Processor is behind the boost in sonic insulation. The processor uses two microphones to detect any ambient sounds. When background noise is detected, it generates inverted sounds to offset those distracting sounds.

In addition to advanced noise cancellation capabilities, the earphones also provide excellent sound reproduction thanks to Sony’s Digital Sound Enhancement Engine HX. The Bluetooth 5.0-enabled earphones offer about 24 hours of playback before requiring a recharge in their included charging case.

Sony’s WF-1000XM3 wireless earphones will be available in the coming months, and will be priced at $229.99.
