Samsung recently introduced what might be the future of home cinema.
Meet “Wall Luxury,” a new modular MicroLED television whose display can range from 73 inches to an incredible 292 inches. The picture quality is also expandable, from 2K definition when the screen is in its “smaller” state and can enjoy 8K when the screen is customized in its largest size.
The display is the latest in a series of versatile television designs that render the living room common denominator more friendly and less conspicuous. This one won’t roll away, but it features an ultra-thin screen powered by a new Quantum Processor Flex in order to provide the unusually fine display quality; it will also display any image desired by its owner when not in direct use.
A smaller version of Samsung’s awe-inspiring new piece of tech made its debut at CES 2019, with 219 inches of screen to boast about. The Wall Luxury model takes the trend a lot further. At its larges size, this display will allow viewers to nearly replicate the movie theater experience right at home.
Pricing for the Wall Luxury has yet to be announced.
