Tuning shop Dahler recently unveiled their new set of upgrades for the 2020 BMW Z4.

Dahler’s a Switzerland-based company that specializes in BMWs. Their previous efforts include a super-performance M2, and X models. They’ve been in the business for decades, and their tuning style is one of the most refined in the world when it comes to cosmetics.

The tuner’s take on the Z4, then, is characteristically understated where cosmetics are concerned, and just as characteristically exuberant in action. Dahler beefed up the body with a new splitter with side flaps and a skirt in a subtle contrasting shade, and installed 21-inch Michelin tires.

Changes under the hood are very noticeable when underway. The 3.0-liter turbo-six now produces 402 horsepower and 457 pound-feet of torque, an increase of 67 hp and 89 lb-ft from the standard model. The zero-t0-62 mph leap is improved over the production Z4’s 4.5 seconds. Better yet, the speed limiter was removed; Dalher’s Z4 can zoom to 186 mph unimpeded.
