Scottish singer-songwriter KT Tunstall recently listed her Venice bungalow for $3.15 million.

Set behind tall privacy hedges, the Los Angeles-area Craftsman-style home was built in 1923 and boasts plenty of classic charm. The great room-style main living space complete with built-in cabinetry and tile fireplace speaks volumes.

Mid-tone hardwood floors run seamlessly from the living room to the galley-style kitchen. Although compact, the kitchen impresses with a vintage-meets-contemporary look thanks to white cabinetry, a vintage O’Keefe & Merritt stove, and slate-gray countertops.

The three-bedroom residence features a spacious master suite with a wood-clad-and-beamed ceiling. A fireplace, a claw-foot tub in the large bathroom, and French doors opening to a private balcony make the space a cozy sanctuary.

The backyard and front yard space offer room to lounge or to enjoy an al fresco meal, and the lush landscaping goes a long way toward proving a private, retreat-like feel that belies the smaller lot size.

Tunstall is currently touring in the U.K. to support her 2018 studio effort, ‘Wax’; she’ll be back playing North America in May.
