With a new larger yacht to enjoy, the current owner of the ABS-classed motoryacht Balaju is a very motivated seller. This 147’ Intermarine only became available in December, entering the market at $6.95 million; the first week of the New Year however, finds the yacht reduced to $5.95 million.
The million-dollar drop should stimulate considerable interest since she already appeared to be priced well below market. The 2002-built yacht shows a lifetime of careful ownership; she has had the same captain since 2006, indicating a loyal caretaking history. She was refit in 2007, and again in 2018 including revised interior and exterior soft goods, mechanical updates, two new 125 kWh generators, and an exterior paint job in 2015.
Twin 3508B CAT diesel engines power Balaju. These commercial-grade units boast a very long life span and provide the yacht with a max speed of 16 knots. The Zuretti-designed interior features a warmer treatment that blends classic nautical and modern styles, with light and dark burled hardwood, white and blue furniture, natural-finished paneling and built-ins. Balaju’s common areas are dominated by sprawling living spaces, a large formal dining salon, and huge flybridge with Jacuzzi, plus an accommodating beach area with a good selection of toys and tenders.
Balaju will accommodate ten guests in her five staterooms, with the on-deck master suite featuring an office and large bath. Quartering for crewmembers includes berthing for nine and a separate captain’s cabin with office.
This highly motivated seller appears to be ready to make a deal!
