After quickly selling two other properties in Manhattan Beach last fall for a total of $7 million, Fox Sports host Colin Cowherd has picked up a new home in the seaside city for $6.525 million.

The sports commentator’s new digs is an improvement, of course, over the outgoing duo, but the traditional styling remains a common denominator. The modern, farmhouse-style residence was designed by Louie Tomaro and built in 2015. Completely custom built with soaring cathedral ceilings, bespoke wood beams, and limestone floors, the light and airy home is contemporary and welcoming. A few details are quite striking, most notably the molded wall embellishments and the home theater’s natural-finished plank ceiling.

The house offers six bedrooms and seven baths in its 5,936 square feet. The shared living spaces are warm and packed with familiar design cues. A bright white living room with a marble fireplace flows seamlessly into the dining room with its built-in cabinetry. Further inside, the family room stands out with an a second marble fireplace and an wall of retractable glass panels.

Amenities include two gym spaces, a climate-controlled wine room, a wet bar, and a spacious movie theater. Outside, the property sports lush greenery, a dining space, a fireplace, and a saltwater swimming pool.
