TV writer and producer Steve Levitan is looking for a renter for his luxurious Malibu beach house for $60,000 per month.

The “Modern Family” co-creator picked up the contempo-trad beachfront for $5.4 million in 2002. The looming multi-story Broad Beach beast spans 5,500 square feet, with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, cathedral-like clerestories, and a bright, optimistic living style.

The central gathering space is the open-concept kitchen, dining, and living room complete with a wet bar. High-end features like an elevator, outstanding beach views, and, of course, direct beach access add to the home’s appeal. An expansive terrace features a retractable awning.

In addition to the main living area, there is also another living space below the street-level garage. This family room features a fireplace and wide-plank floors.

This year, following their 2017 divorce, Levitan and his now ex-wife sold their ultra-luxe Santa Monica residence for $41 million in an off-market deal.
