Jessica Alba Seeks Tenant for Colorful Beverly Hills Home at $11K/Month

At the tail end of 2016, Jessica Alba offered a residence in Beverly Hills for rent for $11.5K a month. The house is back on the market at the tail end of 2018: it now seeks a tenant at $11K/month.

Consort Design handled the renovations on the home, and the revised interiors take a few chances that mainly work. The home’s use of color sets up a little bit of thoughtful drama, with blues, and black and white used to evoke mood. The spiral staircase is the most ambitious design element in the home, a black steel spiral that connects all floors with a bit of Victorian Goth…just the thing to echo the strong personality of a home with a mansard roof.

The lower billiards room is entirely blue; with very dark floors, and the striking spiral staircase and second-floor catwalk in black steel, it’s a little intense, so the wet bar might come in handy. Elsewhere things are a bit more easygoing; the family room works with a fireplace and azure blue, comforting indeed.

The home measures a little less than 2,300 square feet, and contains two bedrooms and 3.5 baths. The master suite features a private terrace, and a master bath that brings nicely figured gold slab marble into play; the black and white treatment shows off the assertive dash of color to best effect.

The furnishings are as carefully composed. Notable among them are the light fixtures, a solid survey of modern designs and boutique offerings.
